Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari Recent visits China is expected to pay the price for major defenses between Pakistan and its neighbors, including those related to advanced J-20 stealth aircraft and multi-domain command and control systems.
During the visit, six memorandums of understanding (MOUS) in areas such as agricultural culture, defense, energy, railway links and farmers’ training were signed with business-to-business (B2B) partners, which will later be expanded to other provinces.
This was revealed by Senator Salem Mandviwala in a press conference hero for the presidency on Friday.
He said President Zardari was the first head of state in history to show to China Aviation Industry Corporation (AVIC). The President wrote on China’s latest aerospace capabilities, including J-10 fighter jets, JF-17 Thunder joint production, J-20 Stealth Imcraft, UAV Technologies and multi-domain command and control systems.
“This visit could pay the way for future agreements to procure advanced defense technology from China,” he said.
He added that the visit deepened strategic cooperation, expanded economic partnerships, and opened new avenues of bilateral cooperation between different sectors between the two countries.
Mandviwala’s presidential spokesman Murtaza Solangi and press secretary Daniyal Gilani pointed out that this is the second official visit to China since his tenure.
