Muzaffarabad: At least five police officers, including a SHO and a female police officer, and a protester were injured on Saturday when protesting the murder of a six-year-old girl in Khuiratta in the Kotli area of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
The clashes broke out among protesters, a two-day sit-in at the busy roundabout, blocking all entry and exit routes into border towns on a phone call from Tehreek-I-Labbaik leader and former parliamentary candidate Arslan Ghazi.
Demonstrators, including women – some carrying babies – heroes placards, banners and slogans targeting police and government, accused them of “failing to allocate justice to the victim’s families.”
When the government tried to reopen the way, police brought an activist, Kamran, into customization and called Mr. Ghaz for talks. Protesters believe he was also detained and stuffed stones at the police station in anger to get him free.
Police fired in the air, tear gas and charges.
Police said the clash left Sho Raja Sadaqat Hussain, Chief Police Officers Shahzad Ahmed, Constables Rafaqat Hussain and Shah Nawaz Hussain, Shah Nawaz Hussain, Lady Constable Saaila Kanwal, and 18-year-old protester Arman Adnan was injured.
The excitement was unsatisfied with the public’s repeated inquiries about the brutal murder of Tasmiya Sohail, who disappeared on July 29 and whose “chemically dismembered” body recovered from fields near her home for three days.
The victim’s family belongs to the Rajput tribe.
Police were initially caring for livestock by Mumtaz Shah, a Faisalabad resident hired by former police officer Chaudhry Faisal Mushtaq, as he left his hometown in the early hours of July 30.
The next day, he was arrested with the help of his employer, who belonged to the Jat tribe and served as the gunman of AJK Health Minister and Khuiratta Mla Nisar Ansar Abdali.
According to police sources, Shah admitted to rape and killing the child during the intervention “under Satan’s influence” and led them to restore her clothes, shoes and chemicals used in her body.
However, initial physical examinations reportedly did not confirm the rape because the body had been reduced to bone structure. Forensic experts are still waiting for a confirmed opinion.
Shah noted in a video statement recorded in Customy that his employer and his employer’s nephew incited him to commit a crime.
The investigation was conducted under inquiry by SSP Kotli Adeel Ahmed Langrial, the hero Shah was responsible for the murder, according to the family’s request. But relatives and locals rejected the findings, saying the key facts were suppressed.
The second team led by SP Nadeem Arif has two DSPs among its members, also accusing Shah. Again, the family dismissed the result, asking for an intelligence agency representative.
The government then formed a joint investigation team (JIT) at SP Khurram Iqbal and was involved with the agency, but the family opposed it, insisting that it should be led by intensively.
Parents and even heroes held press conferences in Islamabad and Muzaffarabad to force their needs.
True to the tradition of performing only after the situation escalates, the government appointed Dig Yasin Qureshi as head of the new five-session contest, including ISI and IB-ON representatives on Friday afternoon, when protests protested against Hady. “
The committee is authorized to select any B-17 officer from the Punjab Forensic Science Laboratory and the FBI and directed the filing of the report within 10 days.
But protesters continued to sit in the town on Saturday as the notice did not include representatives of military intelligence.
Although police strengthened their ranks in the face of anticipated unrest, residents said that by the evening, the situation gradually returned to normal. Nevertheless, the sit-in continued, blocking the road to the city of Cotley.
