Islamabad: Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) in Kisan Wing demands immediate declaration of suffering from federal and provincial governments flood In countries where the country is disaster-ridden, establish emergency relief funds and ensure immediate assistance to victims.
The demand was raised by a central spokesman Khalid Nawaz Sadhraich.
Mr Sadrachi said that was widespread destroy Floods, conventional crops of sugar cane and cotton have damaged farmers’ backs and faced a major crisis in the country’s food security.
He said that not only crops standing in large areas were destroyed by floods, but the investment in planting future crops was also destroyed, creating a very serious situation in the country.
He said PTI Kisan Wing would not leave the farmers alone in this difficult hour, and their problems would be highlighted on the floor of the council, in addition to providing all possible aid to make up for their losses.
“In this regard, MNA’s Kisan Wing organizer Sheikh Waqas Akram will compile detailed reports on the destruction of crops and present them to PTI founder Imran Khan,” he said.
Meanwhile, PTI leadership expressed condolences to all families whose loved ones died in the recent flood. PTI leaders also expressed deep sympathy for the loss of their livestock, houses and crops.
It said that full assistance will be provided to flood victims in KP, and for this, data is being compiled.
“The federal and provincial governments have a responsibility to declare a flood emergency in the country and to immediately make up for the losses suffered by the people,” the spokesman said.
