Lahore: On Friday, the Counter-Terrorism Court filed a lawsuit against fashion designer Khadija Shah, while other defendants failed to appear in a case related to the May 9 riot.

ATC-I Judge Manzer Ali Gill issued arrest warrants for eight defendants in two separate cases – Kinner House and Askari Tower attack.

Ms. Shah and other defendants did not show bones at trials of both cases in other cases.

The judge issued an arrest warrant for Imran and Faiza Azmat in the Jinnah House attack case, and also issued an arrest warrant for Usman, Ahmed Mursaleen, Hamza Sohail and Muhammad Khalid in the Askari Tower attack case. The judge further filed a lawsuit, announcing two other defendants, Abdul Razzaq and Safdar, to declare the offender in the Jinnah House attack.

Additionally, ATC has expanded temporary booking bail for PTI leaders Asad Umar, Azam Swati and Imran Khan-Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan.

Mr. Assad and Mr. Swati appeared in the court, but Aleema and Uzma Khan skipped the hearing in Islamabad.
