Dera Ismail Khan: Khyber Pakhtunkwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi said the CHASHMA lift project will be launched as the federal government and Wapda take its execution seriously.

During the interaction with local political activists and social figures, the governor said that work on the long-awaited project has finally begun after the necessary revisions.

The governor said efforts are being made to expand DERA’s public services and postalpassports and other government offices are being set up in major villages to provide facilities at citizens’ doorsteps.

Mr Kundy said that party workers who have gained a foothold in difficult times will not be forgotten. He reiterated his commitment to service-oriented politics.

In this case, the youth representative praised the government for highlighting local issues and predicting the positive image of the province.

Similarly, Governor Kundy also held a series of meetings with local political and social leaders during his visit to DERA to discuss regional issues and development needs.

The delegation led by PPP leader Sardar Haji Mohammad Aqeel Damra, together with the governor, raised concerns about the difficulty of accessing gasoline connections, excessive power loads falling off, “malfeasance” in the food sector and “corruption” in the government’s drug supply.

Later, former governor and Dera Aman Jirga Sardar Haleem Khan Qsuria presided over the dinner in honor of the governor.
