Quetta: Jamiat Urama Islam threatens to boycott the prospect of the National Finance Committee (NFC) if the Bal Luzhi government fails to defend the interests of the province at an upcoming meeting.
Maulana Abdul Waseay, head of the Bal Road Branch of the Party, said in a press conference at his residence on Tuesday: “JUI-F will not accept Bal Road Branch’s share of the divisible swimming pool.
He said JUI-F will launch a publicity campaign next month to end the “aura of fear” hanging in Bal Road China. The campaign will begin at a meeting in Qila Saifullah on October 14 to sell the anniversary of Mufti Mahmood’s death.
Meetings will be held in Kuzdal and McLan.
Abdul Wasay said that factors such as the total area of Bal Luxun and “dispersed population composition” should be considered when determining the province’s share in federal resources. “Population shouldn’t be the only digit to do this.”
