Chitral: heavy rain On Thursday, in the villages of Shali, Khora Lash and Bilphok, the outskirts of Chitral City caused flash flooding on Thursday, causing damage to standing crops, gardens and property, while vehicle traffic caused flash flooding on Garam Chashma Road.
Two vehicles were swept during a flash flood outbreak at two separate locations on the same road. However, because the vehicles were empty, no casualties were found.
As the roads are closed, dozens of vehicles are trapped on both sides of the landslide.
Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner went downstairs, Rao Hashim Azeem and Assistant Commissioner Riaz Ahmed visited various areas affected by the flood and inspected ongoing customs clearance operations on affected roads.
In this case, he directed the departments concerned to speed up the action further in order to address the difficulties faced by commuters as much as possible.
The regional government also provides food, clean drinking water and first aid to people in affected areas.
