The FIA said on Sunday it thwarted an attempt to bribe citizens abroad and arrested two of its personnel sent to its own at Islamabad International Airport.
According to a statement from the FIA, the lawsuit is directed by the agency’s directors in Islamabad, in the event of an accidental inspection under the supervision of immigration staff (immigrant) Salman Liaquat.
The statement reads that the assistant deputy inspector and police officers were customized when on duty “after discovering the use of the cell phone” and immigrant workers are prohibited from carrying them during duty.
Their cell phones were suspected of searching and recycled “important evidence related to illegal immigration.”
According to the preliminary investigation, the two men “contacted with passengers and agents” and “collected Rs 50,000 per person to send citizens to the Philippines and Uzbekistan”.
The statement said the transaction was “millions of rupees recovered from the suspect’s cell phone” and the two were records of “using microcredit accounts to receive payments”.
It added that a case has been registered in the FIA anti-corruption circle in Islamabad and has obtained the physical memory of the three-day sister.
Last month, the FIA took Notice Video hijacking or passengers on the Parker-Afghan border crossing Torkham, mainly female immigrants.
A video was all the rage on social media, bringing the agency to the attention of the official FIA recording of passengers and negligence during border duty.
DG FIA detailed the incident with FIA’s Peshawar director, and the official was immediately suspended, a statement said.
