Fresh witness statements about the Toshakhana-2 case have revealed a jewelry case against PTI founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi, warning the appraisers to be forced to underestimate the ornaments.

Abbasi claims that Shah told him that he would blacklist from every government department if he refused to cooperate, so he underestimated the jewelry suit and submitted a false report.

Abasi said he joined the investigation on May 23, 2024 and asked for a pardon for the jewelry set.

Shah confirmed the allegation and noted: “I asked Sohaib Abbasi to conduct (an episode) underrated assessment, and he agreed,” adding that he had been in Abbasi’s office for 30-45 minutes during his visit to Jewelry.

Shah also told the court that he was getting a double salary while working for PTI and the government. “I was appointed as Prime Minister’s President from 2019 to 2021,” he said in his testimony, but Shah later revealed, “During that time, I also received salary from the PTI Central Secretariat.”

If Shah testified, he was removed from office in the same year, not because of double salary, but “due to Bushra Bibi’s disapproval.” Shah believes Bushra Bibi suspected Shah’s brothers had close ties with Fomrer PTI leader Jahangir Tareen.

Last July, Islamabad Court prohibit The National Accountability Agency (NAB) filed a reference to Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi, referring the case to the FIA ​​court.

The case was transferred to a special judge, the Central Judge, who will also decide on bail applications for Imran and Bushra Bibi.

Imran Khan has been imprisoned since August 2023 and is currently sentenced to £190 million in corruption cases in Adiala Pains, as well as his wife. He is also facing trial on the Counter-Terrorism Act related to the protests on May 9, 2023.
