Lower Deer: Eight stores were in trouble early Monday morning when the fire broke out in Upper Deer’s Dara Bazaar.
Local residents rushed to the scene immediately and managed to put out the fire after several hours of effort, as there was no fire arrangement in the area at that time.
Vital goods, furniture and other items worth millions of rupees have been reduced to ashes, witnesses said. The incident has brought successful financial setbacks to affected traders, many of whom rely solely on their store livelihoods.
Residents complain that there are no fire-fighting facilities in Dag Dara and nearby areas, forcing them to use limited resources to fight the flames. They asked the government to establish a fire brigade system in labor and other remote areas to prevent similar losses in the future.
Police said the exact cause of the fire could not be determined immediately. An investigation has been initiated.
DPO visited CheckPosts: Newly built Lower Dir area police Taimur Khan visited Zaimdara police station on Monday.
He checked daily diary records, armory, warehouses, locks and residential barracks and investigation archives.
Later, the DPO visited the Kalpani Checkpost, Gal and Suri Pao police stations, where he checked the security arrangements with officials. He inspected CCTV cameras and directed police to further tighten and simplify security checks to effectively monitor suspicious individuals and vehicles.
He directed the police to treat citizens of course, to solve their problems and to transform police stations and inspectors into convenience centers for the public.
recover: A car stolen from Malakabad from Malakabad was later restored for four days in Swat on September 22, after which police tracked it through CCTV footage through multiple locations.
Investigation officer Tariq Amin examined the camera lenses of Balambat, Timergara and Chakdara-Shamozo Road. The car was traced back to Mingora, and the last time I saw a turnaround in the Rahimabad area.
After an extensive search of parking lots and vacant lots, the vehicle was finally recovered from an empty plot on Monday. Police said the sister has been arrested and further investigation is underway.
