Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur said on Tuesday that mortar shelling, drone strikes and the constitutional rights of fighters against terrorists against terrorists, the provincial government cannot stop it.
His government had no control over such actions when he spoke to journalists in the Peshawar High Court. Therefore, it cannot stop them.
But, he said they had a position on ending the war, which was through dialogue. In addition, he said that when civilians are Being killedthe provincial government has been condemning it.
He said the civilian losses in the fight against terrorism were accepted at all costs, and his government has been expressing opposition.
He said the KP government believes that the issue can be solved through dialogue. He said time proves that military operations are not the solution. Instead, after this action, terrorism has increased further. He said the KP government has been criticized for proposing talks with the Afghan government to end terrorism in the region.
However, Mr. Gandapur said that informal contact with the Afghan government was positive in this regard. He said they will share the names of tribes elsewhere that will hold talks with the federal government and the Afghan government this week.
