Quetta: Bal Road Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti announced implementation on Tuesday Mining and Mineral Law 2025 After negotiations with opposition leaders and committee members, the executive order was suspended.

Speaking in the media with opposition leader Younis Aziz Zehri and the governor after the meeting, Mr. Butgeti said he had agreed that the draft of Mining and Minerals (Amendment) 2025 will be forwarded to the Standing Committee for consultation with the opposition and consultation on review and abuse.

After receiving the draft proposal, the government will again propose an amended bill in Parliament.

He recalled that the General Assembly had reached a consensus earlier, but later objected to opposition members and parties outside the Assembly. He added: “We made it clear from the outset that the government is ready for dialogue. Any decision will be taken after consultation and will bring confidence to all parties, including the opposition.”

Mr Bugti said the negotiations were fruitful and both sides agreed to reconsider the draft and send it back to the Standing Committee.

“This theft reflects our commitment to the democratic tradition and the public interest,” he said, and a new committee will be formed to draft the amendment.
