Bal Lu Chiehn Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti on Sunday strongly condemned the murder of the kidnapped Assistant Commissioner Muhammad Afzal Baqi and his son.
CM Bugti said in a statement in his office that the killing could not be condemned enough and called Bucky a “faithful, hardworking and capable officer who performed his duties with honesty and integrity.”
“Muhammad Afzal, Assistant Commissioner, sacrificed his life while fulfilling his responsibilities and will live in the hearts of the people,” the statement said.
In paying tribute to Martyred AC and his son, he said their deaths would not be futile.
“(CM) made it clear that innocent people and the killers of peaceful enemies will never escape their fate,” the statement said. “The sacrifice of the martyrs is a beacon in the journey of peace and stability in Bal Luchistan.”
