Islamabad High Court (IHC) tribunal suspended on Thursday Order To bring retired Major General Hafeezur Rehman from his position as chairman of the Pakistan Telecommunications Authority (PTA).

A judge composed of Justices Muhammad Asif and Inaam Ameen Minhas appealed Rehman’s appeal against the earlier ruling, which was issued on Tuesday, was ordered on Tuesday to order the PTA chief to dismiss him “illegal” position.

Justice Sattar in a request made by digital rights activist Usama Khilji in 2023, following his order rule The creation of membership (administrative) positions in the PTA and subsequently appointing Rehman as the chairman of the PTA is “unconstitutional, illegal and invalid from scratch”.

Rehman questioned his decision within hours of the announcement.

Today, advocate Qasim Wadud serves as the attorney to the PTA chairman, while the Attorney General (AAG) Salman Mansoor also made his argument.

At the beginning of the hearing, the man’s ear contained “relief” that “no petition was granted in the orders of Justice Satar.”

“Neither the rules are questioned nor the notice to the Attorney General. It is necessary to issue notice to the Attorney General,” he said.

AAG further argues that requests sought in no petition cannot be Article 199 (Judgement of the High Court) Constitution.

“The court itself said the whole argument was not completed yet,” the man’s ear said.

“You have enough opportunities,” Judge Asif said in a speech at the lawyer of the chairman of the PTA.

Vadud then went to the podium and said: “In a written petition, the appointment of the PTA chairman cannot be appointed (because) the vacancy was mispropaganda.

“(But) the rules have been changed, the (federal) cabinet has been approved and then the appointment has been made,” he said.

“The rules have been modified March 25(2023), and then filed a petition. ” the lawyer added.
