Deputy Commissioner Hazrat Wali Kakar said at least one police officer was armed with unknown attackers attacking two police stations and a tax station in the Sherani district of Bal Road Province, and two tax personnel were injured.
“The police and tax collectors retaliated and the fire lasted for three hours,” DC Sherani said in a statement, adding that the revenge prevented any significant damage.
“However, one police officer was harassed in the attack, two tax officers were injured, while another tax officer remained missing,” he said.
“The deceased was identified as Aftab-ur-Rehman,” he said, adding that two injured tax personnel were taken to the trauma center in Quetta.
“The search operation is being searched for attackers,” DC Sherani said.
