Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Counter-Terrorism Agency (CTD) conducted three “terrorists” in the Khyber District on Friday night, including Afghan nationals, including Afghan nationals.
Two of the three militants killed during the BO had a suicide bomb attack in Peshawar, which resulted in the death of a deputy inspector and police officer.
According to a statement released by the CTD, the department was conducted by the Islamic province of Herasan Province (ISKP) and its team members in the Ali Mosque area of the region, according to the reported Fazal Noor.
It added that once the SWAT arrived at the scene, the militants opened fire, which was retaliation and the exchange lasted for about 30 minutes.
After the fire was stopped, a search operation was initiated, and the SWAT team found three bodies, which were later identified as Muhammad Naem, featured resident Muhammad Karim and ISKP-related Nangarhar resident Noor Nabi, a resident of Nangarhar.
It added that Fazal Noor escaped while firing, along with other team members.
“The armed groups have been subject to continuous technical surveillance, with investigators tracking their movements and confirming their identities through their technical footprints,” the statement said.
The SWAT team restored three SMGs, 135 rounds, 12 magazines and three bundles of wear, indicating that the technical investigation allowed the team to link at least three armed attacks, the statement said.
“Preliminary intelligence confirmed that the two militants who fled the scene were identified as local commanders of the ISKP, namely Fazal Noor and Hakim Nisar, among the foreign operators based on the basis of foreign funding, they have active plans to carry out major areas in Peshawar and Khyber,” the statement said.
