Quetta: A famous tribal elder of the Achakzai tribe was shot dead on Sunday, and two others were injured in the Pak-Afghan border town of Chaman.
Police said Salahuddin Achakzai, also known as Haji Lalai, was riding motorcycles with two other armed personnel, located in the Murda Kariz Dam area, an area in the outskirts of Chaman.
Mr. Achakzai and his two companions were injured due to the dismissal. While acting with information from the shooting, Levis personnel rushed to the area and transferred the injured to the Chaman Regional Hospital.
Because the tribe elders were in serious condition, he was called Quetta. However, he died when he was transferred to the provincial capital. Mr. Achakzai’s body was later handed over to the heirs.
The motive for the killing cannot be determined until the report is filed, although tax officials believe tribal hatred may be the cause.
Later, tax officials conducted cases against unidentified attackers.
Additionally, DSP Rafiq Hamza, a senior police officer who disappeared from the Sarab area about three days ago, returned to Mastone safely on Sunday.
