In response to the complaint, CJ Dogar apologized to the defense attorneys and assured them that the court would not allow such obstacles in the future. “This is your court, come when you want it,” he said.
NAB prosecutor Rafay Maqsood later told the bench that the special prosecutor in the case was seriously ill and could not appear in court. This led to lawyer Safdar accusing NAB of intentionally adopting delay tactics.
