London: World Health Organization and EU confirm paracetamol safety during pregnancy and warns U.S. President Donald Trump Related Popular autism medications.
The WHO said the evidence for the link remains inconsistent and urged to draw conclusions.
Trump links autism to the use of a child’s vaccine and the use of Tylenol in women when they are pregnant.
The European Medicines Agency said on Tuesday that there is no new evidence that needs to change the region’s current recommendations for the use of paracetamol during pregnancy, known as Tylenol in the United States.
“The available evidence shows no link between paracetamol and autism during pregnancy,” the EMA said. Although it is necessary, pregnancy can be achieved during pregnancy when needed, although the effective dose and frequency is minimal. Previously, UK health regulators said it could be used safely.
When asked about the possible link between the use of paracetamol in pregnancy and autism, he said, “The evidence remains inconsistent.” He cited unspecified research that pointed to possible links, but subsequent studies did not confirm this. “The lack of replicability does require careful conclusions to be drawn,” he said.
