Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto sent naval frigates to assist Gaza’s combined fleet after organizers said several of their ships were torn bones by several Israeli drones off the Greek coast. AFP Report.

Crosetto said in a statue on X: “To ensure that Italian citizens are provided to them on ‘Flotilla’.

“The ship is already a route to possible rescue operations in the area,” he said.

Crosetto used “currently unidentified perpetrators” to express “the strongest condemnation” of the “attack” on board.

Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said he had prompted Israel to ensure the safety of “Italian citizens as well as members of the parliament and European Parliament” among pro-Palestinian activists.

The ministry said in a statement that it had informed Israel that “any action entrusted to Israeli forces must comply with international law and the principle of absolute prudence.”

It added: “Minister Tayani has asked the Italian embassy in Tel Aviv to collect information and reiterate its previous request to the Israeli government to ensure absolute protection of the crew.”
