He said police were unable to comment on the source of the drone, adding: “We did not turn them out.”
He said the police are working with the military to investigate.
Skelsjaer said the Karup base shared its runway with Midtjyllland Civil Airport, which was temporarily closed, although no flights were affected because there were no commercial flights at the time.
