The famous philosopher Markus Gabriel emphasized the need for “moral capitalism” to fight “authoritarian capitalism” among a lecture hero in Tokyo.
In a speech organized by the Yomiuri International Economic Society, Gabriel, a professor at the University of Bonn in Germany, said: “Authoritarian capitalism is coming, but not yet.”
Gabriel added that there are two forms of authoritarian capitalism: incitement and bureaucracy.
If the first child is influenced by an incitement character, it poses an insider threat to liberal democracies. Some say China adopts bureaucratic authoritarian capitalism, although Gabriel himself disagrees if he does not consider the country capitalist.

Gabriel also discusses the new zallesism and represents it in three characteristics: labor suppression, national nationalism and clientism. Under the new boundaries, labor rights will be suppressed or destroyed. He also stressed that “we need good political science to really study” is not a regime in liberal democracies.
According to Gabriel, the world is facing a “necked crisis” where several of the crises “hang together spirals… (and) form a typhoon.” “If you start with AI… everything will be like an AI problem.”
Another theme of Gabriel Ghosts is “The Invisible Hand”, a metaphor introduced by the 18th-century economist and philosopher Adam Smith. According to metaphor, the accumulation of people who pursue their own self-interests may inadvertently bring beneficial social and economic outcomes.
“I think what Adam Smith calls the “invisible hand” is not a mathematical law of the market. It’s just a mistake,” Gabriel said. Instead, it describes the invisible hand as an example of “sympathy” and moral capitalism.
Gabriel has been advocating moral capitalism, in which ethics is an important part of economic activity. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of this idea by giving examples of priority renewable energy or fossil fuels. It is important that he says “not only leads the market, but also leads in value.”
