Gaza City: Gaza civil defense agency said at least 72 Palestinians were killed during Israel’s ruthless Israeli strike, Gaza’s civil defense agency said on Saturday, while citing hospitals in the region’s largest urban area.
Israeli Army fires killed at least 42 people in the city of Gaza, trying to capture and occupy the largest urban center in the region.
In less than two years, Israel’s war against Gaza killed at least 65,549 people and injured 167,518 people, in addition to millions displayed from its area.
Video from the courtyard of the central Gaza hospital on Saturday showed several bodies in the white shroud were victims of a strike against the Nuseirat refugee camp. The woman cries on the dead while the man stands in prayer and takes over the body.
A pile of concrete blocks and open holes marked the strike site that hit the camp building.
A group of men and children picked up fragments and saved their property.
Iyad Shokr, who survived the Nuseirat strike, said the attack happened before dawn. He said: “The fragments fell on our floor. Some survived, while others were martyred,” he said.
Seven members of the Barkel family were killed overnight during a strike at the Al-Shati refugee camp in Gaza, where Israeli troops intensified ground and air attacks.
According to Gaza Civil Defense Agency, the deceased included children and women.
“The massacre is happening, and the massacre is internationally condemned,” said Umm Khaleel, who survived his family home.
Gaza’s main al-Shifa hospital confirmed that six victim bodies were encountered during the strike.
“We can’t fall asleep because of Al-Shati’s bombing and shelling… When suddenly a missile landed on us, the kids were towing.”
“What does the world want?”
Bakr showed up during the two-year war, saying the family had nowhere to reliably escape. “They told us to go there and then come back here. Where do we buy money to get to the truck?” she said. “People are on the streets, the south is scattered everywhere. Where should we go? Find our solution.”
