Geneva: One of its nurses died Wednesday due to an Israeli air strike near his tent five days ago, the doctor without borders said.
Nurse Hussein Alnajjar, a father of three, has worked in the clinics of international organizations Deir Al Balah and Khan Yunis since January last year.
His sister son and nephew were injured in the same air strike. He was the third doctor to have no borders since the beginning of the Gaza War.
“We are angry because military violence continues to kill our Palestinian colleagues,” the group said in a statement.
At least 540 aid workers have been killed in Israel’s bombing of Gaza since October 2023.
