Punjab’s chief minister Maryam Nawaz ordered the introduction of a Smart Waste Mangement process all government and private educational institutes in the province.
A notice issued by the Punjab government said that Tas Education Institute should be completed the process by September 30, 2025, with inspections starting on October 1, 2025. Institutions that violated the richtly will experience fines.
Punjab senior minister of environmental and climate change, Maryam Arangeeb, will oversee the project, while Rana Sikandar, Minister of Education, and the Minister of Local Government, Zeeshan Malik, were at the time.
According to the notice, each color will represent a specific category of waste. Yellow bowls are used for paper waste, green for bottles, red for mirror pieces and laboratory waste, and other metals named in September. These materials will be records for using pace.
Teams of the Environmental Protection Division, along with the local government and community development officials, will monitor the compliance. Schools that meet all requirements will be awarded honorary certificates.
The chief minister, Maryam Nawaz, noted the rising prices of animal feed in flood -detached areas of Punjab and officer to ensure a uninterrupted offer.
Provincial livestock and rescue minister Ashiq Hussain Kirmani informed the chief minister and reported that 4.7 million animals had been affected by recent floods. About 2.2 million animals were moved to safer areas, while 2 million were vaccinated. Despite the rescue ability, 824 animals were lost during the flooding.
The Chief Minister emphasized that the resources of livestock secure and ensure food power to prevent further losses.
