Punjab is expanding the deadline of the Honhaar Scholarship

Punjab’s chief minister Mariyam Nawaz extended the deadline for the application of the provincial Honhaar-Merite-based bursary program, with the new road on October 26, 2025.

The decision was made in reports on the records that disrupted the activities in the districts of the province.

According to the Punjab Higher Education Commission (Phec), the bursary program aims to rebuild the financial burdens and ensure that desurse students can continue their education.

The initiative also seeks to help protect the academic process that digs digging talented students to be focused on their studies despite economic or environmental challenges.

According to the Honhaar scholarship program, the Punjab government announced 30,000 scholarships for undergraduate students.

These scholarships cover complete tuition fees in universities and public sector colleges. Students from families with limited income, especially those affected by floods, are encouraged to apply.

Qualifying criteria

To be eligible for the scholarship, students must comply with the following conditions:

  • A Punjab residential (some students from other provinces enrolled in selected institutions may also be eligible).
  • Belongs to families with a monthly household of less Rs. 300,000-350,000.
  • Has scored at least 60-70% in inter-examinations (FA/FSC/ICS or equivalent).
  • Is enrolled in a university sector or college in Punjab.
  • Not already receives a similarly fully funded merit-based or needs-based exchange.

In some disciplines such as medicine and dentistry, only students from the 2nd to 5th year are eligible. Similar semester -based criteria apply to other degree programs.

Application process

The application process is completely online. Students must follow these steps:

  • Register on the Phoc Honhaar Stock Sports Use a valid CNIC, mobile number and email address.
  • Fill out the online form, proving personal details, academic history and income information.
  • Upload the required documents, including:
    • Cnic or b-shape
    • Academic transcripts and certificates
    • Admission voucher/enrollment verification of the institution
    • Income Certificate or affidavit of financial need
  • Submit the application on October 26, 2025, deadline. Paper -based submissions are not accepted.

The Phec advised applicants to apply early to avoid problems at the last minute and ensure that all documentation is properly uploaded and verified.
