South Waziristan/Lakki Marwat: Two wanted terrorists were killed in separate operations in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa tribal area on Monday.

In South Waziristan, police officials claimed to have killed the banned commander of Dehrik-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

Qari Hussain was killed Monday in a firing incident in the remote area of ​​Birmal Tehsil in Lower South Wazristan, officials said.

Police officials described the activist as a key figure in the TTP, who was involved in attacks on security forces, ransomware, kidnapping and targeted killings.

Additionally, a militant was killed in a fierce clash with local police, supported by armed locals – on Monday in the Wanda Amir area of ​​Lakki Marwat district.

A police officer in the area, with the help of armed villagers and members of the Peace Commission, conducted an operation in rural areas to learn about the information on the Fitna-Al-Khwarij (the state uses to refer to TTP) terrorists there.

He said a strong exchange of fire occurred within the scope of the eliminated Sardar police station.

He insisted: “The terrorists killed were identified as Hickmatu and he was wanted by the police and Counter-Terrorism Bureau (CTD) in various terrorist cases.”

Lakki Marwat DPO Nazir Khan told dawn Elite Force Commando also participated in the operation with the support of armored personnel carriers.

He said police and people will jointly launch operations against the threat to completely eliminate it from the area.
