Muzaffarabad: Two hearings on club petitions questioned September 29 blockade Due to the absence of the petitioner’s lawyers and the state’s highest legal officer, it was not possible to be held in the High Court in Azad Chamu and Kashmir.
The petition filed by six citizens insists that the lockdown of the Jamu Kashmir Joint Awami Action Committee is illegal, equivalent to a “ratitude strategy” and poses a threat to law and order throughout the state.
When the case was filed, including senior judge Syed Shahid Bahar and judge Sardar Mohammad Ejaz Khan were told that the petitioner’s lawyer was not the one in which Masood Iqbal Sheikh was present to plea for their team.
The bench also received a request from the Advocate General for exemption from appearing on the grounds that he had to attend the full court reference in honor of outgoing Supreme Court Justice Khawaja Mohammad Nasim.
Without both parties, the bench adjourns the lawsuit until next week.
