A fierce scene was seen on the SHC on Thursday as the bench of two-term judges refused to entertain the IHC judge and became one of the lawsuits on seven petitions, challenging the cancellation of its legal degree.
However, the two judges, Constitutional Judges (CB), composed of Justice Mohammad Karim Khan Agha and Justice Adnan-ul-Karim Memon, put aside the IHC application, inserting it first heard and determined the maintainability of the petition.
In a written order on Friday, CB stated that it “had an opportunity to hear the trial of these petition issues from the lawyers of all petitioners “the issue of these petitions,” but they “deliberately chose this opportunity, but instead walked out of it when rumpus.”
It added that the court must regulate its own proceedings and cannot kidnap hostages to “the whims of advocates or wishes to understand how the petition is heard”.
The order reads that Judge Jahangiri, with the permission of the judge, addressed the court in dignity and patient capacity, but “not from the point of any petition or listing application, if any, it is because he left the court, because he also left the opportunity to hear the trial.”
Regarding the attorney’s objection to the petitioner, the CB noted that if they had any reservations about transferring these requests from one bench to another, the appropriate course was close to the Apex course and they failed to do so.
The order further learns that judges can decide whether they want to withdraw themselves from the case based on their conscience.

It noted that when the parties consulted with other members of the Bar Association, they insisted on deciding their objections first, the court told them that all matters would be heard and decided together.

It added: “This behavior is highly incredible and is not a senior member of the legal professional.”
“On the surface, this behavior constitutes contempt for the court. However, by indulging and showing the greatest judicial revolution, we have decided to avoid giving any such notice in the future.”
CB instructs SHC Registration Service Provider to immediately retain CCTV recordings and any recordings outside and outside the courtroom on September 25.
KU Statement
After the revocation of the petition, KU issued a new statement on the withdrawal and cancellation of Jahangiri’s degree. Last August, KU Group canceled the judge’s legal degree based on its UMC’s recommendation.
