Muzaffarabad: Nearly 13 hours negotiation The damn deadlock collapsed early Thursday morning between Jamu Kashmir and Kashmir (AJK) governments and two federal ministers after the damning deadlock was stalemate for abolishing elite privileges and seats reserved for Pakistani refugees from Jammu and Kashmir who lived in Indian-occupied Indian.
jkjaac negotiators walked out of the talks, declared them “incomplete monks inconclusive” and vowed blockade Will observe with all your strength.
Afterwards, Federal Ministers Engr Amer Muqam and Tariq Fazal Chaudhry insisted after addressing reporters that the dialogue was conducted in a “very positive and pleasant atmosphere” and that all feasible requirements of the Action Committee fall within the jurisdiction of the AJK and the federal government.
Ministers said: “However, the issue of the need for constitutional amendments to the parliament (Legislative Assembly) or subordinate legislation cannot be decided by a few people in the closed room. That’s why the negotiations failed to end without a result.”
They stressed that Islamabad worked to ensure that AJK citizens not only enjoy all basic rights, but also their protection, pointing to subsidies for flour and electricity.
They asserted: “In Pakistan, people get electricity at a price of Rs 3 per unit or at a price of Rs 50 per kilogram. These contracts are only extended to the AJK people in recognition of their sacrifices.”
Ministers said progress was made on the outstanding issues related to the December 8 agreement and the 38-point requirement charter of JKJAAC until the negotiating team “suddenly created a deadlock” by urging the abolition of elite allowances and 12 refugees.
“Even though we made efforts to resolve the issue, the committee suddenly chose to walk away, which clearly shows that they have other agendas,” Choudhury said.
Nevertheless, he added that the government’s “gate of dialogue remains open and urged Jkjaac” to achieve its national and collective responsibility. “
Confirmed by the collapse, Shaukat Nawaz Mir, a core member of JKJAAC, told the media that the members agreed that the talks could not be completed without the cancellation of elite privileges and refugee seats.
“So, after mutual consultation, we announced the end of the negotiations,” he said.
Nevertheless, he made progress on several issues and expressed satisfaction with the attitude of the federal minister and the official team.
After the arrival of jkjaac negotiators at Muzaffarabad, talks were held at about 4:30 pm on Wednesday and prayers and meals were rested. From the AJK government minister team, Minister of Higher Education Zafar Iqbal Malik withdraws JKJAAC’s request from the beginning, and Chaudhry Qasim Majeed and Sardar Amir Altaf also stay away from the subsequent rounds.
However, Raja Faisal Mumtaz Rathore and Deevan Ali Chuughtai were in the committee room with the federal ministers until the end, AJK Chief Secretary Khushal Khan and Police Governor Rana Abdul Jabbar and Inspector General.
After the talks, JKJAAC negotiators left the venue with a large number of supporters shouting slogans. The federal minister heads to Islamabad after noon Thursday.

Late Thursday night, Shaukat Nawaz Mir, a member of the JKJAAC Core Committee of Muzaffarabad, posted a large gathering at Upper Adda’s iconic Lal Chowk to correspond with letters during the negotiations.
He thanked the federal government for realizing the seriousness of the situation in the AJK and detailed two respected cabinet members to facilitate the negotiation process.
“Our people are not a political platform. Those who speak will inevitably win our praise, and those who criticize us cannot escape our anger.”
Speaking about the 12 refugee seats, he claimed that they have been used to usurp the rights of the people living in the AJK.
“It is unjust to link these seats to the Kashmir Freedom Movement,” he said, adding: “We urge the federal government and our institutions not to stand behind those who are wrong or who are making mistakes. ”
