Lahore: Recently Rain and flood This has caused huge losses to the infrastructure of Lahore Electric Power Company (LESCO).
According to Leso CEO Muhammad Ramzan Butt, efforts to repair and replace affected materials have accelerated as the assessment of damages calculated by the company totals Rs 237,38 crore.
Lesco’s Kasur circle suffered losses of Rs 19.743 lakh, followed by Okara and Central Circles, facing losses of Rs 24.96 lakh and Rs 6.35 lakh, respectively.
The company’s northern Circle faces a loss of Rs 1 million as the flood-affected materials include a 25kV transformer, three structures, 45 feet per building, 450 conductors, six replacement kits, five steel shaft arms, two Defuse Steel X Harms, and nine fixtures (11KV).
The central circle damaged material/equipment/has included 100kV transformer, 400kVa transformer, 215 single-phase meter, 18 HT structure (36 feet each), 500 conductors, 450 dog commands, 24 steel shaft arms and 48 pin sockets (11KV). Similarly, in the Okara Circle with a loss of Rs 24.96 lakh, rainfall and flooding caused seven 25kVa transformers, four transformers, four transformers, 50kVa transformers, 100kVa transformers, 737 single-phase meters, 85 single-phase meters, 85 three-phase meters, 76 HT structure (36-PHETESE), 41 LT structure (31 lt), 31 lt each (31-feet), over 3300 2,000 times behavioral pipes/wires (2 cores 7/052), 116 steel X arms and 189-pin insulators (11KV).
Kasur Circle’s worst hit rate is Rs 19.743 lakh compensation, then Okara
Sheikhupura Circle lost Rs 57 lakh because the material/equipment damaged material/equipment includes 41 ht and LT structures, 1,500 conductors, 2,500 strut conductors, 150 steel X arms and 150 pin insulators. Kasur Circle faced over RS197m loss, the parts, material etc included 57 transformers (10kva), 22 transformers or 15kva, 46 transformers or 25kva, 1 transformer or 100kva, 3,288 single phase meters, 6 transmission line of 132/66 kV, 226 ht/lt structures, 90 Ospray Conductors, 7740 Conductors, 6775 Dogg Conductors, 6515 ENT conductors, 4,791 tide conductors, 132 steel X arms and 278-pin insulators (11KV).
The loss of the South Kana circle is Rs 190 crore as flood/storm water damages 15kV, 7ht/lt structure 1 transformer, two HTPC poles, 500 conductors, 700 Dogg, Enth and Waxed, 12 Defuse Sets, 69 PIN plugs, 69 pin insulators or 11KV.
PIEDMC: The Board of Directors of the Punjab Industrial Estate Development and Management Company (BOD) on Thursday allowed the company to invest Rs 1,800 crore for various development projects.
These include the Quaid-i-azam commercial park of Rs 8 billion, the Bahawalpur industrial area of Rs 1.2 billion, the Rahim Yar khan industrial area of Rs 2.2 billion, and the Rs 4.5 billion, for the extension of Multan Industrial Expare-II, for the Constate Systems and the RS1BN Indertaite Multan Industrial Exase-II, for the Constate Systems and RS1BN Indertaite, Rs 1.1 billion.
The board also approved amendments to the overall plan of Bahawalpur Industrial Company, as well as contractual rulings for the construction of bus stations and workshops in the St. Dar Industrial Zone.
At the meeting, PEDMC Chairman Javed Iqbal said that all possible resources are used to provide industrialists with the best facilities and ease of business.
He stressed that special attention is being paid to the development and operation of industrial areas to play an effective role in the industrial and economic growth of the province.
The meeting was attended by Secretary Umar Masood, Shehzad Azam Khan, Sajid Saleem Minhas, Muhammad Ahmad Khan, PEDMC CEO Captain Shoaib Ali, Coo Ali Moazzam’s Captain, PBIT, PBIT and other relevant departments.
