•Residents say controlled violations can cause floods to return to Chenab

Lahore/Dadu: Large reservoir or flood continue Along the east side M-5 Streetin the dating farmland, threatening to delete the entire village in the wooden building Jalalpur Pirwala Tehsil.
The first appearance on the Noraja Bhutta embankment on the Sutlej River after the 15th day of the violation, residents of the Union Commission of Multan, Bahawalpur and Lodhran remained in trouble, with many clinging to the embankment as the water devoured the house.
For previous damage to highways, the National Highway Administration (NHA) blocked culverts and bridges with heavy stones, effectively turning streets into dams.
But this prevents flooding and causes water levels to rise on the east side, creating a dam-like effect from the embankment of Noraja Bhutta to the expressway.
The communities in Noraja Bhuta, Bahadurpur, Basti Lang, Kanu, Dipal, Tarut Basharat, Daily Rajanpur, Belaywala, Belaywala, Dunyapur, Jhangra, Muradpur Soiwala and its surrounding areas were most affected.
“Ten thousand people are homeless due to the flood due to their Tehsil Jalalpur Pirwala,” said Muhammad Bakhsh, a resident of Basti Long.
He said he and his son returned Wednesday and found that most of their homes had collapsed.
“All our items, including wheat, refrigerators, beds, doors, washing machines, air conditioners and other items, were washed away,” Mr. Bahsh said.
Residents believe that controlled cutting in the highway will drain the water, and they say there is no way to the Chenab River at this time.
“The government did not close all the bridges under the M-5 street by the water, but instead made the eastern side of Jalarpur a dam,” Mr. Bahsh said.
The NHA defends its operations to protect critical infrastructure.
NHA General Manager Kashif Nawaz told dawn. He said they did not close the waterway, but were in places where the speed of strengthening the water could cause damage.
Mr Nawaz said he had no equipment to measure whether water levels were rising and controlling inflows was the responsibility of the irrigation department.
The flood in Jamshoro
According to Sindh authorities, intermediate floods that are crossing the Indus River have flooded troubled agricultural land and dozens of villages. The Kotri barrage has a traffic of about 400,000 Kusek, leaving the lowest area between Sehwan, Jamshoro and Kotri.
The towns of Kotri, Khanpur and Karoon Khu are still safe for the time being. But in Petaro, UCS Manzoorabad and Moro Jabal were flooded. In the Manjhand area, villages including Aliabad, Khanot, Indpur and Buddhapur were affected. Now, more than 20 rural settlements in the floodplain are underwater, forcing residents to evacuate themselves to safer places.
The flood has cut off land routes from many villages in Sehwan and Bhan Saeedabad.
