New Delhi: Indian Army, Navy and Air Force will conduct a joint exercise called “Cold Start” in the first week of October to test drone and counter-drone systems, officials are known as the largest such exercise since Operation Sindoor Hindu said Tuesday.

The exercise is designed to assess the effectiveness and disadvantages of current air defense capabilities. Citing a senior official, the incident will focus on the action readiness to assess the evolving air threat.
The Cold Start Doctrine is a rapid offensive operation conducted by the Indian armed forces. Therefore, it will bypass traditional slow force mobilization to achieve traditional goals in limited time marks.

The doctrine developed after Operation Parakram was exposed to India’s slow response to the 2001 parliamentary attack, aimed at providing a rapid, decisive and limited military response without triggering a full-scale war.
