The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government’s e-basta project has final phases, and animation to transform the province’s education system through digital solutions.

According to an official handout, the initiative will replace heavy school bags with tablets containing all textbooks, lessons, lectures and other academic content. The tablets will only be limited to educational use, ensuring that students remain focused on their studies.

The project also introduces an investigative system. Parents will detect their children’s study patterns, including time spent on each subject, attended lectures, and progress in preparation. Built -in features will enable parents to perform tests through the tablet and see results and strengthen their involvement in the learning process.

Teachars will also benefit from the system. Through the platform, they will be available to award homework and assignments online, review preparation levels and generate immediate reports of students’ performance. It will have educators to identify weaknesses and provide purposeful guidance to students.

Officials said the project is also aimed at promoting digital literacy among youth and preparing them for modern technological claims. Once launched, the e-basta project is expected to improve individual performance and improve the general quality of education throughout the province.
