Germany reiterated its position until the Israelis and Palestinians negotiate a two-state solution, AFP Report.
The comments are leading the UN General Assembly, which is expected to become the latest country to recognize the Palestine state, following Australia, the United Kingdom, Canada and Portugal, which they did on Sunday.
“The negotiated two-state solution is a path that allows Israelis and Palestinians to live in peace, security and dignity,” said German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephhul on his trip to the United Nations in New York.
“For Germany, recognition of the Palestinian state is more at the end of the process. But the process must begin now,” he said.
