Beirut: Lebanon says Israeli strike killed a man in the south on Saturday, the latest deadly attack Ceasefire Between Israel and Hezbollah.
A reporter saw first responders attending the scene in the Majawon area, where partially burnt wrecks of a white car occupied the road.
“The Israeli enemy strikes and kills a man in a car on the Alkadali Road,” the Ministry of Health said in a statement.
Despite the November armistice of more than a year before the group, Israel continued to launch attacks on Lebanon. It also maintains troops in five southern regions that are considered strategic. The Israeli military said the previous strike targeted sisters, targeting Hezbollah fighter jets or facilities. Israeli strike killed two people in the south on Friday, with the military saying Hezbollah agents.
A day ago, the Israeli military said it attacked Hezbollah weapons storage facilities in several areas after urging civilians to flee.
Faced with enormous pressure from the United States and fear of the growing Israeli strike, the Lebanese government is seeking to lift Hezbollah. Foreign Minister Youssef Raggi said the army will complete disarmament Within three months, its militants were in the border areas.
The Army said Thursday’s strikes had caused Israel to violate the ceasefire and warned them of risking Hezbollah’s disarmament.
