The Punjab League Committee of Presidents (PBCC) released the official results of the 12th class (HSSC Part II) first annual exams 2025. The data shows a significant variation of Punjab.
Top -executive boards
- Dera Ghazi Khan: 74.86%
- Faisalabad: 73.71%
DG Khan and Faisalabad emerged as the most stringent artists, with nearly three out of every four students who have successfully passed. These boards have also had their position among the top performers over the past few years.
Middle distance performance
- Sargodha: 66.40%
- Multan: 64.25%
- Bahawalpur: 63.93%
- Gujranwala: 63.10%
Boards in this category showed stable but modrate performance. Multan and Sargodha stood in the middle series, with pass percentages in the middle of the 60s, while Bahawalpur and Gujranwala followed carefully.
Low -performing boards
- Lahore: 60.86%
- Sahiwal: 58.92%
- Rawalpindi: 54.12%
Despite being one of the largen educational beard in Punjab, Lahore recorded a pass rate of just over 60%. Sahiwal slipped under the mark, while Rawalpindi showed the worst, with less than 55% of students who cleaned the exam.
Overall trends
- The province-wide gap between the best and worst achievements is more than 20 percentage points, showing uneven educational outcomes in regions.
- Urban boards such as Lahore and Rawalpindi did not perform as strongly as expected, and despite better resources, questions about institutional performance raised.
- Smaller boards such as DG Khan continued to perform better than larger sections, emphasizing possible differences in student preparation, examination or teaching practices.
