New Delhi: India’s opposition leader accused the Election Commission on Thursday of investigation into so-called mass voter tampering to carry out new attacks on the credibility and independence of the body.

Gandhi announced what he called “100% proof” on Thursday, which is to use automation software to try to remove thousands of voters in Karnataka. He said the ECI refused to share technical data sought by investigators, who looked at alleged actions targeting congressional tilting areas.

The allegations are expected to be held in Bihar in October or November, with India’s third-largest population, with at least 130 million people.
