Toba Tek Singh: Faisalabad Kotwali police booked 33 people on Wednesday for allegedly kidnapped a girl who appeared in court to record her statement about a court marriage without her parents’ consent.
Muhammad Raheel Imtiaz said in the complaint that he and his wife Iqra appeared in court Tuesday to record Iqra’s statement about the marriage.
He claimed that the couple outside the court complex had been attacked after her favorite father, Sabir, her two brothers, four cousins, attorney Aoun Sultan and 25 lawyers, including attorneys, recorded their own statements.
He claimed they kidnapped Ikra at the gun, and she later recovered from the House of Representatives of the accused advocate Aun Sultan.
Police are attacking and arresting the defendant.
Kidnapping: A female student from a private university allegedly kidnapped three unidentified people in Gojra on Wednesday.
Asghar Ali or Chak 356 JB told Gojra City police that his daughter, Tas Tak (20), was a BSC student, when three unidentified people forced her to kidnap her and he was in college. Police are investigating the incident.
access: Australia’s High Commissioner Neil Hawkins reiterated Australia’s commitment to support Pakistan’s agricultural sector, food security and joint efforts to address the impacts of climate change.
A press conference released Wednesday said the High Commissioner Hero met with Dr. Zulfiqar Ali, a VC, of the Agricultural University, during his visit to the university.
He told the conference that Australia has worked in the agricultural field in Pakistan for more than 40 years. He said close cooperation between UAF scientists and Australia will help address agriculture and climate change.
He said Australia has been a key research partner in Pakistan due to its deep expertise in agronomics, livestock production and water management. He said these expertise is directly related to the challenges facing Pakistan’s agriculture.
Mr Hawkins said the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research is working closely with Pakistan for R&D and capacity building. “We need to learn from each other’s experiences,” he said.
He said that groundwater in Pakistan has been gradually decreasing and deteriorating, which is a challenge and related policies that require a reexamination of solar pumps.
Dr Zulfiqar said UAF has partnered with Australia to conduct 29 projects in the mango, citrus, legumes value chain and other regions in the agricultural sector. He said this collaboration has brought tangible results to eliminate different problems.
He said the country faces supreme water problems, including water quality deterioration, flooding and drift. He said Australia has sophisticated water-saving and effective management technologies and that collaboration should be improved in this area.
Arrested: A girl was arrested by Jain Dpo bilal iftikhar kiani, Kot Shakir police arrested two men on Wednesday after he noticed viral video of Haveli Haji Mahmood in Athara Hazari tehsil.
The victim’s mother complained that she knew about the incident after watching the video. When she asked, her daughter revealed that she was on her way to buy flour from the grocery store two months ago when the two were accused of overwhelming her and taking her to the house. There, she claimed, the people raped her and filmed the incident on her cell phone.
She claimed that if she told anyone that they also threatened her, her videos would be uploaded to social media.
Police also brought the cell phone that allegedly contained the video to Customy.
