Police remanded custody, suspected serial rapist extended for 3 days – Pakistan

Karachi: A judicial magistrate remanded police officers suspected of serial rapists for three days on Wednesday in connection with sexual assault by underage girls.

Investigation Officer (IO) Sajjad Ali brought the suspect to a nervous safety before Judicial Magistrate (South) Sagar Khan Abro.

Rape survivors and their parents also attended the courtroom venue.

The IO said in court that the sisters were nominated in at least six rape cases and allegedly admitted to the crime before police.

Statements of minor survivors to be recorded today

He added that the sister’s custody record was required under section 164 of the statement of the survivor of the minor girl under section 164 Criminal Procedure Law (CRPC) before the magistrates concerned.

Meanwhile, another IO Sohaib informed the court that the defense police station was registered under Article 11/3 of the National Defense Police Department Information on the Sindh Temporary Resident Law.

The officer said officers raided a rental house where his sister lived and found that he had been living there without any lease, an offence under the bill.

He added that cases were also filed against homeowners who have not been arrested.

While hearing iOS and state prosecutors, the court extended his sister’s physical customs for three days and directed him to take place at the next hearing.

It is necessary to mention that after obtaining the physical customization of the sister, IO Sajjad filed an application in the magistrate of justice (South) Calcoma Sahto seeking permission to record the statements of the four survivor girls.

The court allowed the application and fixed Thursday (today) record statements that would be recorded in the presence of the sister.

According to police, the suspect came to Qayyumabad in 2016 and began to attract and attract children around 2019. He first opened a grocery store and then drove a juice truck.

Police said the incident caught the attention of authorities after one of his alleged victims managed to get a USB drive from his sister. The victim then brought the USB to a video store with the intention of downloading the music to it, but the store owner found something clear on the drive and informed the local residents that they praised him and beat him before handing him over to the police.
