Khyber/Swabi: A woman and her sister lover were killed by her family here on Tuesday.
Recently, a video clip spread, showing sitting and chatting in the Tirah forest. Their phone conversations also leaked social media.
Tribe members burned the couple’s houses in the Karigar Village Kander Kandaw area in the Haider Kandaw area, as well as those belonging to the ones that made and leaked “offensive” videos.
The action was ordered by Bar Qambarkhel Shura (Christian Council).
Shura members insist that the houses are consistent with local traditions. They said they were searching for four video makers.
Additionally, a couple was killed in Serai Village in Swabi area on Tuesday.
Sho Saidul Amin Khan of Swabi City Police Department said the police visited the location of the double murder and learned about the escape of the sister killer to Sikandari village.
DSP (city) Ijaz Khan Abazai said: “We chased our sisters and arrested the brother of the murdered woman who was injured in an encounter.”
Detained Lal Shazada alias Shada was transferred to Bacha Khan Teaching Hospital.
Sho said the woman married Saqib Khan without her family’s consent. He said, first of all, has not been registered yet.
